Nurtured Works Shop Policies:

Returns and Exchange Policy

Nurtured Works gladly accepts returns and exchanges - our quality and your satisfaction are our top priorities.  Please contact us within 7 days of delivery for any returns or exchanges, and make sure items are returned within 21 days of delivery.  Buyer is responsible for return shipping arrangements and costs.  If items are not returned in original condition, Buyer is responsible for any loss in value.

Nurtured Works does not accept cancellations after order as been produced.  Please keep in mind all items are handmade upon order - we maintain only minimal stock of finished products.  Please contact us if you have any problems with your order!

No returns on custom or personalized orders unless the item arrives damaged or defective.  All sales for custom or personalized items are considered final.

Ring Re-Size Fees

We guarantee your order will be made to the exact size you specify when ordering. Please make sure the size you order is accurate. DO NOT simply guess your ring size, and do not trust an online sizing guide -it most likely won't work and it will cost you more money if we have to size your ring. 
Visit a professional jeweler or a jewelry counter in a department store to have your finger sized. Keep in mind the width of the ring will also influence how the ring fits, so it is best to know how wide your ring will be before visiting the jeweler.
If by error you have ordered an incorrect size and wish to have your ring resized, the following fees will apply:
-   Copper Rings: 20% Re-Size Fee
-   Sterling Silver Rings: 35% Re-Size Fee

Exchange Information and Fees

You may exchange your purchase for a different item within the first 14 days of ownership for a fee equal to 25% of the original purchase price of your item, not including shipping fees. Buyer is responsible for return shipping. PERSONALIZED OR CUSTOM ORDERS CANNOT BE EXCHANGED--ALL SALES ARE FINAL ON PERSONALIZED OR CUSTOM ITEMS.
Example: If you purchase an item from our shop for $40 and want to exchange it for a different item, you will be given a shop credit of $30 (or 75% of the value of your item) towards the new item you want, after receipt of the returned item in good order. You will be responsible for return shipping, and shipping charge of exchanged item.

Return Information and Fees

We are a “make to order” shop, meaning we will not start production on your item until your order is placed. We maintain only a minimal inventory of finished goods and raw material in order to keep our costs down and provide favorable and competitive pricing to you. We will have already invested valuable time and resources into the items you will be returning, with no guarantees of being able to resell. Because of this, we require a 25% re-stocking fee for all returned items. 
You may return non-custom listing, non-personalized items for a partial refund equal to 75% of your purchase price of your item, not including shipping fees, within the first 14 days of ownership. Buyer is responsible for return shipping.

PERSONALIZED OR CUSTOM ORDERS CANNOT BE RETURNED --ALL SALES ARE FINAL ON PERSONALIZED AND CUSTOM ITEMS.
Example of applicable return fee and refund (items eligible for return): If you purchase an item for $40 and want to return it for a refund, you will be refunded $30 (or 75% of the value of your ring) upon receipt of the returned item in good order. Remember, you will be responsible for return shipping.

International orders (outside U.S.)

We use U.S.P.S. First Class International Mail as our standard shipping choice for international orders. Once your order is shipped you will receive a confirmation email with tracking information. Details provided vary by destination. Shipping times vary greatly from country to country and take anywhere from a few days to several weeks to arrive. You will be responsible for any duties, tariffs, or taxes owed on your package. The customs declaration on your package will list the content descriptions with the values of the items being the purchase prices minus the shipping charge. We will only remake and resend an international shipment you suspect has been lost if it has been at least 8 weeks (2 months) from the original ship date.

 

Custom and personalized orders

Please contact us for custom orders - we do accept custom order requests! Please note - coupon codes are not applicable to any custom orders for which we have given a quote and agreed upon price.

 

Processing times and RUSH orders

We currently have 2-5 business days wait time before your order will ship. We may be able to offer rush service, on a case-by-case basis. An additional charge for this service may apply; typically 25% of order value. Please contact us before ordering to discuss your needs.
Should you require rush service or prefer we use a different carrier, such as UPS or FedEx, simply send us a message before placing your order. With your approval of the rate, we will create a custom listing for you with the additional shipping charges and expedite fee.

 

Shipping - Domestic U.S. orders

We use USPS First Class Package service as our standard shipping choice for all orders within the US. Once your order is shipped you will receive a confirmation email with tracking information. First Class generally takes 2-5 business days. If you feel your order has been lost in shipping, please contact us immediately so we may help investigate .
Should you require rush service or prefer we use a different carrier, such as UPS or FedEx, simply send us a message before placing your order. With your approval of the rate, we will create a custom listing for you with the additional shipping charges and expedite fee.

Privacy Policy

Nurtured Works respects your privacy.  We promise to only use your shipping and billing address and contact information for the purposes of fulfilling and communicating with you about your order, or for any legal reasons (like paying taxes).
